Board of Commissioners
The Billerica Housing Authority Board of Commissioners consists of five members; four elected by the citizens of Billerica and one appointed by the Governor. All serve five year terms.
The Board of Commissioners meets on the first Thursday of every month at 4pm at 16 River Street.
Carol Ford
Chairperson
Carol is a former Executive Director of BHA, serving from 1968 until 2002 and was responsible for the initial development of most of BHA's current properties and programs. She was elected to the Board in 2005 and elected Chairperson in 2010.
Dorothy Pearson
Vice Chairperson
Dot was first appointed to the Board in 1991 and has been re-appointed by the Governor every 5 years since then. She is active in local politics serving on the Housing Partnership, as a Town Meeting Representative and also working in the voting polls. She was elected Vice Chairperson in 2010.
Jim O'Donnell
Treasurer
Jim was elected to the Board in 2010 and is a former Selectman for 15 years. He has served on several local boards and is well known in Town. He is committed to solving the affordable housing needs for Billerica residents.
Ron Diorio, Jr.
Member
Ron was first elected to the BHA Board in 2004 and served as Chairman from 2005 until 2010. He is active in local politics serving as a Town Meeting Representative and is committed to the development of affordable housing for Billerica citizens.
Rich Baraldi
Member
Rich was elected to the Board in 2011 and is also a member of the Planning Board. He is a former Town of Billerica employee and is interested in expanding affordable housing opportunities in Billerica for those who need it.
